CILT II (Age 16)

CILT II is the second segment of the CILT program. This year is more intensive, and campers begin to apply their learnings with younger campers, and assist leaders in various ways. CILTs shadow their desired staff positions in order to understand the job better, and what it takes to lead in their respective field. CILT II is a two-week program for campers that are 16 years old and who have previously completed CILT I.

*CILT II is on hiatus for summer 2018*

Guest Speaker

Meet our Guest Speaker, Jeff Scott!

Jeff Scott is the Lead Pastor of a new church plant out of the Metropolitan Bible Church, WestVillage Church. It has grown from a prayer gathering of 40 to over 350 people on an average Sunday.

Jeff has a passion for honest, straightforward, real and practical-for-life-today teaching of the Bible that stems from a firm belief that its message about Jesus and a life lived knowing and following Him is ultimately the most important thing any of us can ever know and center our lives upon. He has his Bachelors in Religious Studies and a Masters in Theological Studies, and is an ordained minister with the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada.

Being born and raised in Ottawa, Jeff and Ruth love their city and have a heart to see people in our nation’s capital come to know and follow Jesus. The Scotts are highschool sweethearts and have four crazy awesome kids: Gabriel, Joel, Thomas, & Violet. When not enjoying time at the neighbourhood park or beach, Jeff and Ruth enjoy drinking LOTS of great coffee (four kids, remember!), biking, good books & movies.
